Starting location: Casablanca

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Your Morocco Tour begins with pick-up from Casablanca airport, hotel, or an agreed meeting point. Pick Morocco Trip will welcome you and start the journey with a visit to Casablanca’s main highlight, the Hassan II Mosque, depending on arrival time and opening schedule.

After Casablanca, the Tour continues to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will visit important historical sites such as Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Royal Palace area from the outside, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the Chellah area depending on timing.

Dinner and overnight stay will be in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, your private Morocco Tour continues with a guided visit of Rabat if some monuments were not visited on the first day. You may explore the Oudaya Kasbah, the old medina, and the riverside area before leaving toward Chefchaouen.

The drive passes through northern Morocco’s landscapes, including small towns, hills, and rural scenery. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you will discover one of Morocco’s most photogenic towns, famous for its blue-painted streets, mountain setting, artisan shops, and relaxed atmosphere.

You will enjoy a walking Tour through Chefchaouen’s medina, including Outa el Hammam Square, the Kasbah area from the outside or inside depending on access, and the narrow blue streets.

You will travel through Asni and the Ouirgane Valley before continuing across the mountain landscapes toward Taliouine, a region known for saffron production. This day introduces the mountain side of the Tour before entering the deeper south of Morocco.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast, the Tour leaves Chefchaouen and travels toward Volubilis, the famous Roman archaeological site near Moulay Idriss. You will enjoy a guided visit of the ruins, including Roman streets, columns, mosaics, and open views over the surrounding countryside.

If time allows, the Tour may include a short stop near Moulay Idriss before continuing to Fes, one of Morocco’s most important cultural and spiritual cities. You will arrive in Fes by the evening and check in to your riad or hotel.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full guided Fes Tour with a local guide. Fes is known for its old medina, artisan workshops, historic schools, souks, tanneries, and traditional architecture.

Your visit may include the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish Quarter, panoramic viewpoints, ceramic workshops, the old medina, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine area, the tanneries, and Al Quaraouiyine from the outside where entry is restricted.

This day is one of the most important cultural parts of the Tour, giving you a deeper look at Moroccan craftsmanship, history, and medina life.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara Desert

After breakfast, your Morocco Tour continues from Fes toward the Sahara Desert. You will pass through Ifrane, often known for its mountain atmosphere, then continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, where travelers often stop to see the natural landscape and Barbary macaques when present.

The road continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains toward Midelt, where you can stop for lunch. After Midelt, the landscape changes as you pass through Ziz Valley, Errachidia, Erfoud, and Rissani before reaching Merzouga.

In Merzouga, you will meet the camel team and ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner will be served at the desert camp, followed by Berber music and a night under the Sahara sky.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early to enjoy sunrise over the dunes, then return from the camp by camel or 4x4 depending on the camp arrangement. After breakfast, the Tour continues toward Rissani, a traditional Saharan town known for its local market when open.

You will continue toward Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most impressive canyon landscapes. Here, you can enjoy a walk between the high rock walls and take time for photos.

From Todra Gorges, the Tour continues toward Dades Valley, known for its kasbahs, rock formations, and scenic road. Dinner and overnight stay will be in a kasbah, hotel, or riad in the valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, the Tour continues through the Dades Valley and Rose Valley toward Ouarzazate. Along the route, you will pass kasbahs, palm groves, Berber villages, and open desert-mountain landscapes.

You may stop in Skoura or Ouarzazate depending on timing, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou. This famous fortified ksar is one of the most important architectural sites in southern Morocco and a popular stop between the Sahara and Marrakech.

After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, the Tour crosses the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech. Overnight stay will be in a riad.

Day 8: Full Guided Tour of Marrakech

Your Marrakech Tour may include the Koutoubia Mosque from the outside, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef area depending on access, the souks, Jemaa el-Fna Square, and Majorelle Garden if tickets are arranged in advance.

The evening can be free to enjoy Marrakech at your own pace.

Day 9: Essaouira Day Tour from Marrakech

After breakfast, Pick Morocco Trip will organize a day Tour from Marrakech to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. On the way, you may stop at an argan oil cooperative depending on timing and availability.

In Essaouira, you will have time to explore the medina, fishing port, Skala ramparts, souks, beach area, and artisan shops. Essaouira is known for its relaxed coastal atmosphere, seafood, white-and-blue medina streets, and Atlantic wind.

Optional activities such as horse riding, camel riding, quad biking, or surfing may be available locally, but they are not included unless arranged in advance.

In the afternoon, you return to Marrakech for the night.
